Leo Clarke has over four decades of legal experience, distinguished by his work as a litigator, corporate and financial lawyer, and educator. As a litigator, he has successfully handled complex cases in both state and federal trial and appellate courts, covering a wide array of contract, tort, and statutory claims, including high-profile class and collective actions.
In his role as corporate and financial counsel, Leo has advised clients on a broad range of matters, including securities offerings, acquisitions, finance and real estate transactions, restructurings, corporate governance, technology issues, and government relations. As a law professor, Leo was named Professor of the Year five times, earning recognition for his excellence in teaching and mentorship. He has authored over thirty scholarly and practice- oriented articles and books, and has presented at more than twenty conferences worldwide, from Seattle to Dubai.
Leo holds a B.A. in Economics with distinction from Stanford University, and earned his Juris Doctor from UCLA Law School, where he graduated third in a class of 330.
